A brilliant trio of episodes. Unfortunately, with the exception of Frederick Douglass, it focuses on "white saviors" rather than on how African Americans built systems of resistance; their voices go unheard. Nonetheless, the narrative is inspiring and informative. This documentary should ...Read more
